The research team presented a symposium online titled ‘Migrant Students Integration in Different Education Systems: Benefits and Pitfalls of Universalist and Targeted Approaches’ at the European Conference of Educational Research (ECER) 2022.
The symposium aimed to understand policies and practices that facilitate or impede migrant integration in schools across different systems. Papers from Scotland, Finland and Sweden were discussed, and the team shared preliminary research results with academic colleagues from other universities internationally.
