Katja Vähäsantanen, PhD, dos. (adjunct professor), is an university researcher in the field of lifelong guidance at the Finnish Institute for Educational Research, University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Her current research and teaching interests lie in the areas of professional identity, agency, learning, and emotions in work organizations, with a further interest in various methodological approaches applicable to investigate agency and learning in working life. Her recent publications include articles in the Nordic Journal of Working Life Studies, Teaching and Teacher Education, European Journal of Teacher Education, Frontline Learning Research, Studies in Continuing Education, and Professional Development in Education.
